Life Lessons: Do not believe in Promises

Have you ever tried believing in a promises and ending up disappointed because the person who promised to you never able to live up to its promise. Let us say, your boyfriend promise you to take you out to dinner but forgot because of a necessary appointment, or a friend of yours who borrowed money from you who promise to give it back in certain time but was not able to do so and you need the money desperately. Those are simple given promises but the expectation it gives us is huge. We expect that the person who said those words will be responsible enough to do it. Promises maybe made to be broken but it does not mean it should be broken every time it was plead.

The truth about this blog post today is the fact that I encountered a very painful scenario that broke my heart. One particular person promises me many things, I believe in him. It is too good to be true. But I end up broken hearted because those promise of his was just spur of the moment. He just said those words just to make me feel better and fine. It was never a good idea. It made me feel better but afterwards, I felt worse than what it was before. It is very painful. I can’t believe that a person will say those words just to compensate him and never thinking of the result afterwards. Never thinking of the damages it would do. I am sure that many can relate to what I feel right now. The scenario maybe different but the emotions and feelings we feel are all the same. My heart goes out to the people who feel the same like me. The feeling of being betrayed will always be there.

I will surely move on from this case. But the sting it gives me when it comes to promises will forever be in my heart. Every time the word “promise” will be used, the stigma that is connected will arise. I am not sure until when, but I am sure it will be a long journey. I’ve been experiencing this for a long time now, its just that today was the worst case.

Until my Next Blog Post..

At the End of the Tunnel, There is Always Light

Goodbye June and hello July once again. If you are not that lucky in June, then its about time to start anew. New trials, success and journey is about to take place. Another bittersweet ride, but before June leaves, lets take a deep breath and reminisce how was your June? Did you attend a friend's wedding? Did you receive a midyear bonus? Did you you receive a wonderful twist of faith that made you pray June would not end? Or did your June gives you a lot of headache and heartache that you want to hasten time so that it would pass by fast. Hmmm, what's the story of your June? Let me tell you mine!

The month of June gives me a lot of headache. It is the time to reap all the consequences of my wrong decisions. Yes, it made me bankrupt, indebted and troubled. It affected my my personal life and work. A lot of trials come my way, a co worker resigned and I was left with to handle everything. I become superwoman, but lets face it, we become tired and weary. It happened all to me and I was not able to adjust fast. I got sick and occupied. It is as if everything is not enticing to me. I want to stop anymore.

But just this day, suddenly I realize whats the real meaning of the famous cliche "At the end of the tunnel, there is always light." Struggles maybe as huge as a dump site, but God has another plan. The struggles I am facing is temporary. It is part of my journey. It is inevitable. Though I'm still at the middle of the tunnel, I can hope that maybe two hours or two days from now. I will reach the end of the tunnel and light will reach the end of the tunnel and light will strike me just like every month and year in the calendar, the change of month and year in the calendar. The change of month and year symbolizes hope and new beginnings, light will eventually come.

Have you feel tired and stress out.

Lessons from Bad Teacher

Credits to the owner of the photo.

Who loves to watch movies here? There are movies that captures each movie goers discriminating test. They are those who made it in the box office short list. And for sure, this movie that I will be talking is the familiar to you. It is a box office success. It stars Cameroon Diaz, Lucy Punch and Justin Timberlake. It has a working title of "Bad Teacher". Ring a bell? Oh, I would bet you already watched it over and over again.

I watched the movie once. It is a totally fabulous movie. Cameroon Diaz, is fascinating and the way she portrays her character is flawless. But I will not talk about the whole movie here and its rating. More so, I want to share to you the lessons I've learned from this hilarious movie. I don't know if my mind is going to the right direction but yeah, this is all about  what I learned in Bad Teacher.

"Go after what you want"

This is the first idea that comes in my mind when I watched it. Cameroon's character proves to me that when we pursue our dream and move towards the dreams direction. It would happen. It may take a lot of perseverance but it is worth it along the way though in the movie, Cameroon's ways are not right. It still is worth to ponder.

"Be Contented with what You Have"

Contentment is way underrated word. It is so hard to achieve. But, in the movie, it teaches us to be contented of what God gives us. Cameroon's character shows us that even how much she wants to add some in her body. She remained compose. It is a very good lesson that many should ponder.

"Sometimes, Being Right will make you Sidelined"

This is the negative part of the movie, I learned that the right people will not be rewarded all the time. They, sometimes will be in danger because of telling the truth.Just like Lucy Punch character in the movie, she got all the blame and the consequences of telling the truth.

There goes the lessons learned from Bad Teacher. For those readers that want to watch the Bad Teacher, sorry for the spoilers. Nonetheless, this is the movie that will make you sit in front of the laptop or television until the end. That's how good the movie is. So if your planning to watch this movie, go for it! It deserves a front seat in the theater. You'll never get bored.

What can you say about my lessons learned?

I will gladly accept it!

Do The Ahhh, Ending The Summer Season With Nivea Protect & Refreshing Cooling Mist!

Time has passed by so fast that, I didn't notice summer is ending. Good bye bikinis, figure and body baring fashion statements, tan, beach and of course, the sun. Huhuhu summer is definitely the best season to watch for. Sadly, rainy season is coming. But it doesn't mean, I'll let go summer that fast. The Last Hurray is here. And it's the best part of my summer story. Our trip to the home of Lansones Festival-give it up for Camiguin.

It was originally planned on May 2013 bu it was move on June. All bags are packed, food ready, but the most important ingredient in my summer vacation was yet to unfold. I have no summer protection. I am familiar with many sunblock protection but my skin is so sensitive, it reacts to it. One sunblock I've tried made me feel itchy. A big no no to me since I don't get to have a vacation all the time. Some also makes me feel warm. It does not suits me. I feel uncomfortable with it. Thanks to many beauty blogs, I found a relief to my weeks old problem-Nivea Protect and Cooling Mist. It is the perfect partner for my summer's last hurray. I found it so cool. The high dose of Sun Protection Formula keeps my skin protected all day long since I am visiting the white beaches of Camiguin, I badly need it because I am prone to sunburn. What's not to love about this product? To add more, I love the cooling effect it gives to my skin, It makes me feel refreshed amid the scorching heat of the sun. It makes me more excited to swim in the beach without worrying about my skin and UV's it absorbs! So excited for my Camiguin getaway.

My two days vacation is about to take place on June 15 to 16. I am looking forward to visiting this majestic Island where history and nature combine to make the island one of a kind tourist destination. I'm itching to see it's white beaches, take a plunge in their cold and hot springs, eat their delicious pastel, visit their floating cemetery and the old churches. Its to many to experience in Camiguin and I'm confident that with all my itineraries. I will be protected and refreshed with Nivea Protect & Refreshing Cooling Mist. This is how I will end my summer. I will share to you my photos and shots when I get to experience this all. Till my next summer post! Remember, summer is definitely in the corner still. It's an attitude. Be refresh and cool under the heat of the sun. Just don't forget to put on your weapon. The Nivea  Protect & Refreshing Cooling Mist

Note to Self: Be True to Yourself

Have you ever felt that you don't know yourself anymore: That you already forgot all the values, hopes and faith that you hold on for years. It is such a painful scenario that even how much you try to scream so that the inner person that you know is what you are but cannot escape and and cannot voice out. It is even how much you try to explain your side, it is not worth it because no one is their to listen to your inner cry?

It is very unacceptable but as a person grows, there are life events that will force us to shut down ourselves. It is as if we live in shadows of who we are. We pretend to smile so that no one may notice what's behind the mask that we look directly to the eyes so that they can't read what's in our mind. We become the villain of our own drama. Drowning in the idea of self-pretending. Dire and boring.

"Be true to yourself" is the greatest advice I was able to accept when I was in the stage of my life that I forgot myself. Because of those words, I learn to let go of what I've been holding for quite some time. Learn to shut up when explanation is badly needed. It is learning when to speak at the most tempting moment. It is accepting the scene but never settling to it. Be true to yourself even the people around you might not like what you have become. Just like what Steve Jobs said, " do not let your inner being drown and the outside overcome it. Because it would be the time your start living someone else life.
