Let Me Tell You My Stories: The Last Capture

It has been more than two months since my mother died. Many asks if i already recovered from it. My answer is a plain smile. The truth is I can't voice out what I feel yet. Talking about it is too much for me to handle right now. My heart is in deep wretched.

I scanned my photo gallery in my phone. I was laughing when I saw my previews photos and then I noticed a particular photo. Suddenly, my tears fell. The familiar feeling enveloped me again. It was the last photo I captured with my mom. She is beaming with a familiar smile. It was days before Christmas. My happy day. The Last Christmas that I can call her "mama". I don't want to divulge anymore about my feelings. Because loneliness and pain will be very visible in my eyes.

I just want to show all of you the woman that gives birth and life to "Claire". My last photo and the best memory.

Have you lost someone special too?
Let your voice be heard too..

Note to Self: Count Your Blessings

Have you been in a situation that you feel everything is beyond your control? You feel that the Lord has a grudge on you because you feel you lost everything and he doesn't care. You keep on asking why it has to happen to you among all the people in the world. You pause for a while and think about the situation you are into but felt worst. I am telling you, I've been on that situation. Cried, asked, and blamed God. Who on earth will I blame? But, because of those so called situations, I was able to trust God and learned that above all, do not forget this, " Count Your Blessings".

I was 18 when my father died and just this January I lost my mother. I can't accept it, I'm only 22 with a budding career with so many plans for my mom, Yes, it ended so soon, The irony of life, when your world evolves only to that person and then suddenly death stole her from you. The most painful because you can't see her anymore. She will be completely lost physically. And the only thing you have is the memory you shared with them. Brutal, it is. Because of those turning point in my life. I've learned to count my blessings. I realize I was still blessed to be able to share my moments with them. I have them for a longer period than others. I was loved by them and made them smile while other people was not blessed to have parents. I saw how proud they are of me and how thankful they are because they have me in their life while many people search the world just to find the person that can be proud of them.

At a very young age, I was already sure of what I want to do. They lead me to the right direction and support me all the way. Though, I have lost them, I will always remember how they are very proud of me and wherever they are, I am sure they are smiling because their little "Kring2x" has achieved what they envision to become.

This situation may or may not happen to you. But life is too short to keep on asking and blaming why things happen opposite of what you expected. Count your blessings, they are everywhere. And the most important blessing is, inside of your heart. It never stops beating.

What is your most important blessings?

I'll Tell You My Stories

Ever since I was young, I have this very wild imaginations when it comes to different movies and teleseryes I have watched. I made stories in my head, written it on my notebooks and let my friends read it. There comments are all the same "I am so keen to write"

I really have passion for writing, I've discovered it when I was elementary, when I joined a writing contest and luckily won. It is a milestone for me at young age, because it gives me a panoramic view of what I want to do in my life. It is simply to express myself through writing and looking forward. This is the reason why I have this blog. I don't need other people's opinion to drown my inner being. The birth of my blog is the renaissance of my passion-the burning fire to tell my stories not only to the people who are curious and want to read my stories.

If you also have stories to tell, do not hesitate to email or comment here. You have a voice, do not shatter it. Voice it out, some may not be interested on it, but what matters most is you share your thoughts. You have expressed that side of you that wants to be heard. So what, if others, may criticize or like you. At the very least, they can't take away anything from you.

This blog is the haven of my stories and thoughts. And in the posts to come, you'll read how my stories will unfold. Watch out for it.

Note to Self: If You Do Not GO after What You Want, You'll Never Have It

Have you ever felt the feeling of wanting something so badly but never go after it and ended up blaming yourself to misery because you should have fought or tried to get it. the feeling is dire, everything that same questions still lingers on the mind "why did I let it go?". Then there is that little voice from screaming in your head "if you do not go after what you want, you'll never have it". And the next sequence would determine the life that you would take.

All of us, we will come to that point in our life that we need to make decisions. Whether in petty things or life changing, and the decision we would make and its outcome is very crucial. Just like what Robert Frost illustrated in his poem 'The Road not Taken". There are two possible outcome. There will always be choices. If you have the courage and go after what you feel is hard at first but would be easier a long the way. But if you are driven by fear and choose the other road that would make your life simpler at first and full of regrets as time goes by.

If you do not go after what you want, you'll never have it is a reminder that choices and decisions are crucial. And fear is its common denominator. Do not be driven by fear. Instead, by prayer and and petition, lay your burdens to the Lord. Offer your plans to him so that you'll not regret that you never take a leap of faith of going after what you want.
