Who among you watched “White House Down”? I bet you were on the edge of your seat while watching it because of the action pack scenes you’ve witnessed. The same here, I love the movie so much just as the actors who play the characters in the movie. They bond well with the story.

Movie Title: White House Down

Lead Actors: Channing Tatum, Samuel L. Jackson

Story: The White House is being attacked by individuals who want to take over it and the President. The president is trapped in the white house together with his defense secretary who happens to be extracting revenge with him. While John Kane and his daughter is having passes to tour the White House when the incident happened. The turning point of the story is when John’s daughter Emily shared the video she took through the social media to pinpoint who are the people responsible of the attacked.

Impression:

 I really love the character of Emily in the story. She is tough and knows what to do in times of crisis. She does not panic easily. I love how the writer made the ending unexpected and still true to the essence of the story. I love how the writer plays the character of John who is turned between protecting his daughter and the president. I all love the fighting scenes and the effects. It was superb. Moreover, I also appreciate how the writer shows how the people in the government thinks and acts when they are facing an immense problem.

Zalora Wishlist for the Week

I'm not in the mood to write today, so I just like to share to you my Zalora Wishlist. This is my top to toe wishlist and I'm hoping that I will be able to fulfill it. No timeline yet. Huh, my budget is in scarce mode. So I need to limit my spending. Feeling down mood, I really love the outfit specially the wedge shoes. The color combination is unique. City Girl: Baring Some Skin

I have been loving shorts ever since I start working in the city. I am super shy and not so confident in wearing shorts because I am afraid the people around me might react about my transformation. But gone are those days that I consider what other people thinks about me. I'm starting to think more about what I want to wear and love. I am now being true to myself. 

Today, my fashion mantra is baring some skin. And the outfit matching of themall.ph draws my attention. It is so chic. I love the color combination. It is eye friendly and very comfortable to wear. I can use it in strolling at the mall to chatting with my friends anywhere. The minimal use of accessories fits my style well. And to wrap the outfit, I love the pink wedge. And I honestly need it because i'm not tall. It would some height to a short woman like me. Hmm, and the bag, nice pic. Over all, the outfit is superb. 

Really love the outfit matching. I love themall.ph . The right source of fashion finds. Just recently registered there. And I will keep on going back for my daily dose of fashion.

My Very Own Bucket List

I’m so impress in women who achieves their goal and continually sets higher standards to be seized. It is not easy to set a goal, more so to achieve it. When we set goals, it means that we will have to give up some aspects in our life to pursue what we really want. It is a long process and the process is not easy to traverse. This is the main reason why I adore those women who have carve a mark and reputation to be a goal oriented/seizer. This post is dedicated of what I read in femalenetwork.com and about Bianca Gonzales. This is my very own bucket list from July to December 2013.

Travel Alone.

Yep, this has been my dream since time immemorial. I really want to travel. Explore the world and see God’s amazing work in my own eyes. I know, I need a lot of resources for me to be able to achieve it. And I will do whatever it takes for me to achieve it. I am inspired of how Bianca Gonzales did it in her own way. If she can do it, why can’t I?

Write my own Novel

This is a long overdue for me. I have a lot of love stories made. None has been published. Not because it was rejected, but because I am afraid to pass it. I fear rejection, everyone does. But if I continue to be afraid, I will not be going anywhere. I will be in the same area. Stranded and gulped in my own misery. And I don’t want it to happen to me. I will move on my comfort zone. Wish me luck.

Be an Entrepreneur.

This is my plan in the last two months, to make use of my available plan to start a little business of my own. I’m still in search of what business I am going to enter. My head says installment of stuff my clients would want to buy. It would be profitable. I want to start it as soon as I can. I would earn and use it my future travels. Sounds fine with me.

Go on a Swimming Escapade.

This would be my bold move if I will be able to accomplice it. I will learn how to swim and have myself a swimsuit along the way. I envy those women who have the courage to flaunt there body in the beach as if no one is watching. I never tried it. I am curious of how does it feel. I want to do it. Because I want to be carefree and to do more.

Build my Confidence.

This is the real test for me. I am ashamed to accept this, but this is the truth. I am not confident of myself. I have a low self-esteem. And I will leave that state of my life. I want to be confident. I will train myself to do more. I will draw inspiration to Bianca Gonzales character. Multi tasking can be done if we really want to pursue the goals and dreams.

I can do it! I will do it! I will be dedicated to complete my bucket list. I will be a goal seizer as well!

Tricks in Doing my Grocery

What kind of errand do you really like most? Is it cleaning the house, washing the dishes or doing the laundry? Hmm, tough choice isn’t it? My favorite errand is going to the grocery store or at the market buying all the things and food for 15 days supply. It is a ritual for me that after my salary, I go to the grocery store. There is different kind of fulfillment when I look at my cart full of grocery item! Hahaha, but then again, because of more than a year of doing my own grocery, I learned a lot of tricks to successfully carry it out without spending much.

Eat Before you GO

Since I go to the grocery after I work and my stomach is not full, there is this feeling of wanting to buy everything I see that entices me. A big no-no, my budget would not fit. To solve my problem, I usually buy a hotdog on stick before I proceed. It eases my hunger and let me concentrate in buying without being bias. As we all know, according to research, we tend to buy a lot when we are hungry and it applies to me.

Write Down

This is the trick I keep on forgetting. I keep on writing all my grocery items in a paper but ending up forgetting. I will just depend on my mental capacity to remember what I need. The result, every time I do it is worst, either I lack or excess a lot. It’s horrible. So, every time my grocery schedule is up, I make sure to put my list in my wallet. It does wonders you know.

50% Cash, 50% Credit

This is it; I tend to buy a lot when I’m using my credit card alone. My observation is when I’m using my card to pay the bills I have this feeling of buying a lot because I will not be paying it right at the moment (hmmm, are you all like me?). To address my woe, I made a policy of 50-50. And it works; there is this conscious effort to minimize my spending because I’m paying it with cash. My credit card bill got lighter.

Bring Calculator

This is my favorite trick. Even though many people find it funny to bring a calculator, it usually helps a lot. It gives me the idea of how much I am paying and how much is the worth of all the grocery items I have. It will now depend on me if I will still add some stuff in my shopping cart. Sound fine, right?

There it is the tricks to lessen my spending habit in doing my grocery. It may or may not apply to you. But trust me on this, it works if fervently practiced. It would allow us to spend less, plan better and save a lot.

Life Lessons: One Life to Live

Have you ever felt that you want to live someone else life? Drowned with so many what ifs in life? Hoping that life could have been exciting or better if you choose the right option back then? It is a very tiring cycle in human life. We become insecure and hope what we don’t have. Eventually, we realize that we cannot go back to the past and correct the wrong decisions we did or did what we should have done.

Today, I want to correct my thoughts, cure my insecurities and live my life without apprehensions. It is a moment decision. I don’t know if you are familiar with the song “One Life to Live” by 33 Miles. But if you hear and understand the Lyrics of the song, life is not in our hands. We should not limit the possibilities and live as if our last. We cannot go back to the past but we can correct our past by living right in our present. It may not be the easiest to do but it is the right thing to do. Every second past is a moment we have wasted. We cannot say can we undo it or another take? Because it is spontaneous, we live in unplanned and unpredictable life. Today may be the best but tomorrow can be worst or better. We don’t have a hold on it or maybe, on some part.

“One Life to Live” made me realize the importance of life. The line from who Am I, “here today and gone tomorrow” is true. Only God knows our time. Let us feel every beat of our heart and be thankful. We are still here, blessed and loved.

My Take: Let’s Talk About Free Agency

Oh my! The NBA 2013 has concluded already, we saw the Miami Heat (my favorite team) successfully defended its title. They won back to back championships. And I want to congratulate them, aherm. Since, the season ended, it is the time again for all NBA teams to beef up their line up for the incoming season. Free agency has been the biggest buzz. Who would be the team to afford the likes of Dwight Howard, Andre Iguodala, Josh Smith, Chris Paul and others? And what trade agreement would be close prior to the season? I know it is still too early to tell who will end up to whom. But, sports website has it that some free agents and teams have agreed already and only signature is needed to make it official. Excited already for the latest buzz? Lets start the ball rolling..

Doc. Rivers is the Clippers New Head Coach and Chris Paul choose to be with them too!

Oh yes, Chris Paul choose to remain as a clippers. He inked a maximm five-year deal worth $107.3 million according to Los Angeles Times.

Dwight Howard ended up with the Houston Rockets

Houston Rockets will be a team to beat this new season. It is because Dwight Howard chooses them over other teams. He will be earning 88 million over four year season. The reason? He wants to compete for a championship. Dwight Howard will be teaming up with James Harden. Howard will be a key addition to the team.

Josh Smith is going to Detroit Piston

Josh Smith will be the latest addition of the Detroit Piston family. Smith agreed to a four year $56 million deal according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports. He will be with Andre Drummond and Greg Monroe. The 27 year old Smith will try to boast up the line up of the said team.  

Hello Andre Iguodala from Golden State Warriors

Andre Iguoldala has inked a four year 48 million deal with Golden State Warriors according to Sam Amick of USA Today. He will be teaming up with Stephen Curry.

They are the most talk about free agents this summer. Signing them would give a team a shot for the championship. And I’m looking forward on how they will blend with other members in the team. Will they dethrone my team Heat or will each team fall short. We can only tell the moment NBA 2013-2014 unveils.

Photo Diary: Summer at Sprinkles

Today is rainy day. I miss the sun! I miss swimming. And because I want to reminisce the season in the sun (waah, I’m singing). I would like to share to you my summer escapade in Sprinkles Pool and Events Center at Barangay Kinamlutan, Butuan City. It is a newly opened pool within the city that has very nice amenities and cozy ambiance.

What I love in this swimming site is it is not yet exploited. It is overlooking the mountain top and the air is fresh. It has two swimming pools and they are still constructing the new pools. It is new destination for the city people who wants to feel refresh. They have affordable entrance fee amounting to 100 pesos with free corkage.  

I don’t like to talk much because this is a photo diary post. So, hope you guys check out this swimming destination when you visit Butuan City!

Upcoming Korean Drama: The Heirs

How's your day? Smiles!

Who is your dream guy? Honestly, I really love to day dream and make stories in my mind. I dream of publishing it in the future! Now i'm still day dreaming. And one of my dreams is to see Lee Min Ho in personal. Geez, he is so handsome. I can't help myself but to look at the screen of our television without blinking. I can't see him in person so I will just stare at him as long as I can. Wink, back in the reality, the thousands of people who are so lucky to see him in person, congrats!

This post is about Lee Min Ho's new drama! Yes, you read it right. I read in ABS-CBN.com's article entitled  "25 questions for Lee Min Ho" that he will be having a new drama. You just don't know how ecstatic I am upon reading it! He will be back in small screen. And the best part of it is she will be partnered with our favorite korean sweetheart Park Shin Ye. The one in He's Beautiful. Their upcoming drama will have a working title of "The Heirs". The story will revolve about the lives, love and friendship of wealthy high school students. Lee Min Ho and Park Shin-hye will be playing high school students. According to the latest news, the actors who are joining the casts are Kim Sung Ryeong, Choi Jin Hyuk, Kim Woo Bin and Yoon Son-ha.

This will be broadcasted by SBS Korea. And the target showing will be October. The screen writer of the story is Kim Eun Sook of Lovers in Paris, Secret Garden and A Gentleman′s Dignity and the producer is Kang Shin Hyo of Tazza and Midas.

As for me, I'm looking forward to see this drama. I personally love Lee Min Ho and Park Shin-hye. Ever since I saw them in their respective dramas, I really hope they will be paired. Finally, my dream has come true. The plus here is, it will be shown in October-my birthday month! (Wink!)
