My First Zalora Purchase

Credits to the Owner of the Photo
Today, there are a lot of online stores in the market. In one click, you can now search products and services online. You don’t need any more to shop at the mall and fall in line. In short, you’ll avoid the hassle of shopping through online stores. It is its advantage. It is the reason why my friend keeps on convincing me to shop online. I am always adamant about the idea. I always have what ifs. What if the one in the picture is not as good as the actual? Or worst, the online store I shopped is hoax? Oh, I will be doomed! Then my friend keeps on insisting the website she is shopping is reliable and affordable. I should see it for myself! For a businesswoman like her, I know I should trust it. She shops there frequently.

That is how I know about Zalora.com.ph. An online shop of different apparel brands, they have wide array of products you can choose from. You’ll never get tired of browsing their products from accessories to shoes! These products are too chic not to notice. I need a lot of time to check there shoes in order for me to buy the two pair of shoes that fit my need. Finally, I settled for a black ballet flats from Twinkle and a khaki ballet flats from Ezra. My requirement really for buying those shoes is if it is comfortable to use, can be use in the office and of course affordable. I believe they qualify so I registered myself to the site. I used my facebook to register. It is fast and easy! I then clicked my favourite shoes to add in my wishlist. Before you can add them to your wishlist, you must first choose your shoe size. Be careful in choosing your shoe size! It is tricky. Know your foot first. USA and Euro sizes are different. In Euro, my size is 36 but in USA I am five. You do not want the hustle of returning your order right? When you already have your wishlist, you can choose what items you want in your bag. Once you have them in your bag, you can order it now and choose whether you pay through credit card or cash on delivery. They will confirm your billing address and once everything is done. All you need to do is wait for your order to arrive. They promise to deliver the item 1-3 days within Metro Manila and 4-5 Days if it is in the province. They will email you the progress of your delivery and from their email, you can track its progress.

These are the items I bought:

I received my order after two working days. It is that fast! I paid through cash on delivery and did not regret my order. It is what it is! It fits me well!  Zalora has fulfilled what they promised in their website. I am really amazed! And I can testify that the website is worthy trying and shopping for. I can recommend this to people who love shopping. This is shopping made easy and fast. I am convinced that one does not need to touch the product in order to buy. It is by looking keenly at the product that you can decide whether to buy or not.

I hope this post will be able to enlighten those readers who still doubt on trying online shops.

Just Animals: Give them Home

Happy Thursday everyone! It’s a holiday! And I’m relaxing with my three adorable kittens and hope you are too.

Hey there!

Thank you for reading my blog!

Who among you have pets? We all see in television shows the owner and pet interacts. The owner even dresses their pets according to their own taste and preference. If many of you like dogs, I’m more to cats. I so love cats! My fondness to cats started when I was elementary. I was with my mother selling (we are side walk vendors back then) in the public market, I saw a strayed kitten. It is crying hard because it can’t find his mom. My heart was touched; I can’t take off my eyes on it. The kitten is so vulnerable. I begin to wonder where his mother is and why he’d left him. I went to touch the kitten and I can feel his so hungry. I felt for him. I waited for more minutes if there is someone willing to adopt the strayed kitten and no one rescued him. I went to my mom and asked if I can bring the kitten to our house. She does not want to and argued that our house might smell bad because of it. But then I promised I would be responsible to clean up the mess it would create.

That is the start of my fondness to cats, I’m happy that I’ve been able to adopt it. It brought me a lot of joy; I named it after its color “orange”. Orange is very responsible. He does not defecate anywhere. He always goes out to do so. He is also cute; he would wake me up in the morning and playfully rub his body around me. He is always at our doorstep waiting for me to arrive and when he sees me coming, he’ll run after me and rub his body unto me. I would carry him to the house and play with him afterwards. He is not like other cats that would jump to the dining table to get food when hungry; he will just wait for you to feed him. His life lasted for more than three years. He died due to old age. I was so hurt but I promised I would continue to adopt cats who are strayed and give them home.

I have adopted kittens I saw in the streets needing affection. I continued my pursuit in giving them a home to stay and food to eat. I have now four cats. I have “Yen” which is two years old and three kittens that were abandoned by their mother. I feed them with “paksiw” every day. They are so cute. And they live peacefully, they don’t fight on the food they have but shared with them. They protect and fight for each other when foreign cats are entering the house.  They have renewed my strength when I’m so weary just hearing them “meow” and coming after me every morning and when I come back from the office. My kittens have been my constant source of joy. And you would also feel it if you open your heart to them.

What I’m saying is, try to adopt a cat or dog today, whichever is your choice. There are a lot of cats/dogs who are seeking for people who have heart to give them food and shelter. A lot of dogs/cats are abandoned every day and some of them are maltreated to point of being killed. They have lives and their life is precious too. Adopt a cat/dog today and you’ll feel the difference it gives to your life. According to a research, those individuals who have pets have longer and peaceful life than those who don’t have. Meaning, having a pet can make a difference.

Make a difference, have a PET!

Do you also have a pet?

Gilas Pilipinas made History!

Hey there!
Thank you for reading my blog!

Today, Gilas Pilipinas made history. They snatch a win from a lower seed Senegal, 81-79. There win did not come in handy. They were ahead in scoring most of the time but things got different in fourth quarter when Senegal applied a full court pressure. They had a couple of turnovers during those times. At one point in below five minutes of time in fourth quarter Senegal snatched the lead and they trade baskets after baskets. Until its last two minutes of action they were tied and Tenorio’s last shot did not get in.

Overtime came. Senegal started with a three and from there Gilas Pilipinas took charge. They hit their free throws. But the scary moment came when Andre Blanche fouled out with under a minute to play. The Philippines use an all Filipino five to counter the attack of Senegal and that is the time that Filipinos prove there never die spirit. They fought with all their heart and capture that elusive win after a week of hard work. They put a stop to more or less four decades of drought in the FIBA World Cup of Basketball.

It is my first time to watch them play live in television; I only saw their games in replay. I was so enthusiastic with this game and full of hopes that they will end there stint in the World Cup with a bang, I hope. When it started and I saw all the Filipino hopefuls in attendance, I really crossed my fingers that the night would turn out fine. When they outscored their opponent after back to back threes I was leaping with excitement. I know this is going to be great in Gilas side. But then, my officemate texted me saying they are just full of energy in the first two quarters and lie lowed at the end. I expelled the idea. I know about the last games of Gilas wherein they almost got it with the likes of Croatia, Argentina and most of all Puerto Rico who eliminated us. But I erased all the negatives in my mind, maybe it was not there time yet. That one elusive win will be tonight I declared.

And that declaration turned out to be powerful. I believe a lot of Filipinos all over the world made it too. GIlas Pilipinas did win! They showed that #Puso never failed. Though they fall short, they bounced back and made it as a stepping stone to strive hard and win it not only for themselves but for the Filipino hopefuls in attendance in Seville, Spain but all over the world. They may not advance in the competition but they did great and made us proud. Congratulations Gilas Pilipinas! #Puso! You all deserve a Heroes welcome!
