Just a Big Thank You

OMG! I am 24! Yes I am 24. And I consider being 24 a peak of every woman. A lot can happen with this age. Many women get married, promoted on their career and others found their calling. As for me, I still need to figure it out. But one thing I am sure is before I can enter the peak of womanhood. I still need to celebrate it. I need to celebrate my birthday! Happy birthday to me!

My birthday is exactly October 3. I successfully celebrated it with friends and family. I feel so blessed with many people showering me with greetings. I want to say thank you for all of them. They have helped my 24 years of existence meaningful. I was able to throw a simple dinner but did not buy something for myself this year. Usually I have a gift for myself as a reward of all my hard work. But this year, I choose to delay or might not give anything for myself until Christmas. You want to ask why? Because I have already received a lot of stuff from different blog giveaways I won. My prayers have been answered so I don’t want to ask for more. More on a big thank you for those blogs who give me all the stuff I want for my birthday.

Why? Because I simply love it, she does not only feature and review make up products but also shares her personal style in her blog. Her girly and truthful posts make me stick.

Dove’s I am Beautiful Campaign

 Lately, I saw a lot of posts on being true to our real age. It gives a statistics that a lot of women are not celebrating their birthday mainly because they are afraid to get older. It is true. A lot of people I know when asked about their age, will just smile and looked away. It is natural reaction of a woman, I myself is not an exception.  I am afraid to accept that I am getting older.  Blame it to the idea that as a woman gets older, its market value gets lower. Boom, it is a sad reality. 

                I am happy that a giant beauty soap company like Dove tackle this never ending cliché that attributed to age in their campaign. It is an awakening for women to be proud of their age and at the same time deal with this millennium age idea that women are starting to sour grape as it ages. The “I am beautiful campaign” is timely. It encourages women to be proud of its age at the same it in stills an idea that even at any age women are beautiful. It is a matter of how it takes the idea of aging. The declaration of saying the age and declaring that “I am beautiful” is a reminder that age is just a number and number should not scare women. 

                Don’t be confined in the idea that because you are this age, you are not beautiful anymore. You are, you just need to find it to yourself. Remember, you are the master of your emotion, and what you put to mind shows. Practice declaring “ I am Beautiful” today, and see the change within you.

Tomato.ph Online Shop Review

Just like other girls, I am also totally hooked with shopping online. I have posted my experience shopping at Zalora. It was a very pleasant one. So my expectation for other online shops is high. I come across Tomato.ph when I saw their posting in Facebook last September exactly 100 days before Christmas that they will have a 50% off in all their items! I feel ecstatic! I directly visited their website. 

It’s cute. Super red, I saw JC De Vera and that time I knew he was the endorser of it. All I know about tomato is their SWAP watch. And as I visited their website, I was introduced to their variety of products. I personally love their watches and bags. At first, I was asking myself if the picture and the actual would be the same but yeah, I can assure you, they are. 

The 50% off just lasted for 120 hours or two hours. I manage of pull of all my favourites in my cart. I was dizzy, if only I can have them all. But no, time and money constraint will not allow me. I proceed for checkout. I applied the code for 50% off. I only paid more than 3k for the transaction. It was smooth until I read that the areas covered by Cash on Delivery are outdated. Our province was listed in there but they said it is not. I was used with Zalora paying on my trasaction through Cash on Delivery. I paid through RCBC. I took a photo of my deposit slip and send it in their Viber and through their Payment Form.

I waited for more than three days before they confirm my payment. I was disappointed as well when they inform me that some of the products I choose were out of stock already. But I commend their Customer Service Representative for pacifying me. They give me different choices. I was able to choose. They process my orders for two days. And after more than a week, I finally have my orders delivered to me.

Honestly, I feel that they process orders really slow maybe because I ordered on the sale period. They compensate me with their product. They have very nice products. It is chic. I have their watches, wallets, bags and shoes. They did not disappoint me at all. Very worthy of every penny I spend.

I had my second purchase last week, it is faster than my last purchase but the product quality is still the same. Just want to say if you want to shop at Tomato, you have to pay early. Your orders will be process once your payment is acknowledged.  All in all, you’ll love Tomato. They may process slow but patience is a virtue right. 

By the way, they are celebrating 10 years in Business.
